Abstract

A kind of hybrid electric tactical vehicle structure scheme was proposed here, and its characteristics was expounded. In the investigation, the power and the torque requirements for the powertrain were calculated, and parameters for powertrain components were designed preliminarily. After that, the hybrid electric tactical vehicle was modeled in MATLAB/ Simulink. The simulation results show that the parameter design of each powertrain component is reasonable, and the vehicle can achieve predetermined performance goals. The results supplied the foundation for the next step vehicle development. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
