Abstract

Rapeseed, mustard, peanut, sunflower, soybean, sesame, safflower, castor, and cotton seed are important oilseed crops sown worldwide. The USA, Brazil, China and Argentina are amongst the leading countries in oilseed production. Developing countries import edible for daily consumption. Using conventional production practices is the major cause of lower productivity. However, under changing climate, boost in production could only be impossible by employing advanced production technologies.
