Food of nestling crows in northeast scotland

Abstract

Examination of the gizzard contents of nestling crows in Scotland shows that young birds receive a wider variety of foods than older ones. Interesting differences in diet appear as between Scottish farmland and English woodland birds. © Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
