Abstract

The article focuses on the graduate students in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) more susceptible to having anxiety and depression. It discusses the interactions between students and principal investigators (PIs) which may affect their mental health, how universities should provide methods to the teaching faculty on mentoring in order to alleviate mental health of students.
