Abstract

Sustainability plays in telecommunication industry a major role. Product lifecycle management (PLM) safeguards the value creation process of companies therefore PLM can be considered as the strategic weapon to achieve the goal of business sustainability. The authors give reasons why the holistic view on the PLM is critical for an efficient and sustainable PLM and present an integrated approach for developing of products and services compatible with the requirements of sustainability and profitability for the business.
