Abstract

This paper deals with the study of the mechanism of orientation process, the guest-host effect and the electrohydrodynamic instabilities in LC comb-like polymers with azomethine and cyandiphenyl mesogenic groups. In the last part of the paper the cooperative structure transition in LC nematic polymers is discussed.
