Abstract

Comprehensive passenger transport hub (CPTH) is the point of different transport modes of the transportation network and is also the distribution center of a large number of passengers. The service efficiency of distribution facilities in CPTH is one of the key factors that influences the distribution efficiency of the Hub. The service efficiency evaluation of distribution facilities in CPTH can help managers find and correct the disadvantages of distribution facilities to improve the distribution efficiency of the hub and satisfy the requirement of passengers-convenient transfer and the expectation of CPTH managers-balanced utilization of facilities. Based on factor analyze of service reliability and ADC model, the paper builds the ADC service efficiency evaluation model of distribution facilities in CPTH and uses that to estimate the service efficiency comprehensively. It verifies the practicability of ADC model in the service efficiency evaluation of distribution facilities in CPTH and it will be helpful for the improvement of distribution service of CPTH. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
