The supply of education in a country has an important role in its capacity to educate adequately the population. Most economists agree that improving human capital is a source of technological innovations and of improvement in labour productivity and is also one of the best ways to reduce poverty. The objective of the paper is to analyse, in the Senegalese context, how poor households benefit from public expenditures in education. The method used shows that, if in the primary level we are going to more equity, the inequalities are still important in the highest levels.
