Abstract

The memristor shares the best features of both memory function intrinsically and nonlinear characteristics, which is seen as a potential candidate to reduce system power consumption and circuit size. In this paper, a novel four-dimensional hyper-chaos system containing a memristor has been put forward, and the hyper-chaos characteristic of the system was verified through the Lyapunov index calculation. Moreover, Standard nonlinear diagnostic tools such as dissipation and system stability, power spectrum, time domain spectrum and Poincare map are employed to investigate its complex dynamic characteristics. Subsequently the system is simulated by the SPICE circuit. A fully good agreement is observed between Spice simulation results and the theoretical analysis, which verify the feasibility of the memristive hyper-chaotic system.
