Abstract

In this paper, we propose a novel college physical education model using information technology. Computer technology is combined with communication network to make physical course contents more rich. Furthermore, multimedia data and online learning mode are introduced into physical course to make students understand the course more deeply. The proposed model is made up of three parts which are "Teachers section", "Multimedia data" and "Students section". Moreover, our college physical education model integrates teaching process with learning process using multimedia data. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed model, we design two experiments for performance evaluating. To test the performance of our model, 50 students are required to give feedbacks after attending the course based on our model. Experimental results show that our model is effective and interesting for physical course learning. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
