Foetuscare: An android app for pregnancy care

Abstract

FoetusCare is an android application for pregnant mothers. It calculates the pregnancy due date, shows the pictures of foetus growth, and explains the symptoms and usual discomforts of the mother every week; it tells the needed weight gain of the mother every week; it provides information about daily calorie requirement. This application alerts the pregnant mother for the due dates of doctor consultation, scan, and other tests. And this app allows the mother to share her weight information, new symptoms and minor discomforts with doctors. The mother can store her basic pregnancy data and her weight every week. User data will be stored in the server hosted in the cloud, in order to support multiple devices.
