Study on tribological properties of lubricating grease with additive of graphene

Abstract

This paper presents results of study on coefficient of friction of surfaces in case of lubrication with use of lubricating grease with 2% graphene additive, same grease without graphene additive and in case of no lubrication. Be- sides differences in coefficient of friction there are also shown differences in wear of specimens used in experiment. Results indicate that additive of graphene in lubricating grease decreases coefficient of friction as well as wear of friction pairs.
