Abstract

Possible interpretation of intuition and logic is discussed in terms of neurocomputing, dynamic information theory, and pattern recognition. The thinking is treated as a self-organizing process of recording, storing, processing, generation, propagation of information under no external control. Information levels, being formed successively due to this process are described, with the transition between each level is shown to be accompanied with reduction of information. The hidden information could be interpreted as a basis for intuition, whereas verbalized abstract concepts and relations refer to the logical thinking. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
