Abstract

Gel dosimeters are radiation sensitive chemical dosimeters that aim at displaying the absorbed dose in three dimensions (3D) and integrated over time. Starting from the fundamental definitions of accuracy and precision this paper examines the unique meaurement challenges inherent to gel dosimetery. © 2006 IOP Publishing Ltd.
