The work explores the potential for re-purposing an existing evolutionary model, originally intended for the generation of flight control software for low cost search and rescue drones. Freed from real world physical constraints inherent. The repurposed model is suitable for use in clonal expansion based optimization contexts. An argument is then made for greater adoption of re-usable component oriented evolutionary systems.
