Abstract

At present the broadcasting of time service data mainly adopts the ways of network or communication satellites, and aims at all the data. Therefore, there are certain limitations. Firstly, it did not make full use of the widely existing mobile communication network; Secondly, for some users who just want to get a small part of specific data, there is no doubt that the data obtained from the broadcast channel is extremely redundant, and it is a disturb and time consuming thing to find the data what he needs in large amounts of data. GSM network is currently the most widely used wireless communication network, with the characteristics of wide coverage, stable communications, multi-user, etc. SMS (Short Message Service) is a digital business for cell phone users provided by GSM system. SMS has the advantages of no territorial limit, convenience to achieve, low cost and so on. Therefore, for the features of GSM SMS, it can be applied to the data query. © 2012 Springer-Verlag London Limited.
