Abstract

The lowest sea level during the last glaciation maximum is estimated to be 95 ± 3 m below the present level based on the sedimentological, diatom and 14C dating analyses of the in-place sediments of the two cores taken from the shelf off Sendai, northeast Japan. -from Authors
