Abstract

There are probably as many approaches to the design of the best embedded system as the number of design engineers. All they would review a set of given requirements and then take their favorite chips and tools to do the implementation. Although it seems that the approach to the design is typical, one thing is sure giving this task to ten different teams will result in ten different solutions. This situation takes place in spite of numerous methodologies and optimization schemes which should lead to the most optimized solution © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
