Abstract

The study aims to assess the involvement of international tourism organisations in including sustainable development goals (SDGs) from Agenda 2030 in their declarations, aims and reporting goal achievement. The sample covered all organisations (72500) included in the database of the Union of International Associations (UIA). Textual analysis, in particular, content analysis of the UIA website and the websites of investigated organisations, was conducted. Ninety per cent of active organisations include SDGs in their declarations. There were no statistically significant correlations found between the declared goals and organisation type and other features. More than half of active organisations have any relation to SDGs in own aims/missions.
