Abstract

ABSTRACT The teaching and learning process carried outin schools currently still does not pay attention to students creativity. From the results of observations in class V MIN Blitar City, it shows that there are still shortcomings in teaching and learning activities such as: teachers are still not precise in choosing learning model and do not use interesting media. This causes students to be bored and bored in learning activities. One of the models that can be used is the Project Based Learning Model. The project based learning model is one of the learning models in which students can create a project (work) that can train students creativity. The aims of this research are (1) to train students environmental care attitude through the use of used goods in the surrounding environment. (2) to find out students creativity in making human respiratory system products from used goods. This research was conducted in September 2021 using descriptive qualitative methods. The relusts of this study indicate that the application of the Project Based Learning model can train environmental care attitudes in the material of the human respiratory system for fifth grade students of MIN Blitar City.   ABSTRAK Proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan di sekolah saat ini masih kurang memberikan perhatian terhadap kreativitas siswa. Dari hasil observasi di kelas V MIN Kota Blitar menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat kekurangan pada kegiatan belajar-mengajar seperti: guru masih kurang tepat dalam memilih model pembelajaran dan kurang menggunakan media yang menarik. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa bosan dan jenuh dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Salah satu model yang dapat digunakan adalah Model Project Based Learning. Model project based learning merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran di mana siswa dapat membuat sebuah proyek (karya) yang dapat melatih kreativitas siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk melatih sikap peduli lingkungan siswa melalui pemanfaatan barang bekas yang ada di lingkungan sekitar. (2) Untuk mengetahui kreativitas siswa dalam membuat produk sistem pernapasan manusia dari barang bekas. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September 2021 dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan model Project Based Learning dapat melatih sikap peduli lingkungan pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia siswa kelas V MIN Kota Blitar.
