Abstract

This chapter explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for art music composition, focusing on how AI can transform musical tasks and shape compositional ideas. In this context, AI is viewed as an agent contributing to a distributed human–computer co-creativity and extending human capabilities, rather than a replacement for human creativity.
