Abstract

Efficient Top-k processing of uncertain data is an important requirement in the field of safety monitoring. Considering the energy consumption and query response time in the IOTs, an uncertain data PT-Topk query processing scheme was studied in a hierarchical structural sensor network. Based on the x-tuple rule of uncertain data, using intracluster and intercluster two-phase query processing, a distributed Two-Phase PT-Topk Query Processing approximation algorithm (TPQP) was proposed. Finally, the extensive experiment results demonstrate that the proposed TPQP can reduce the transmission consumption and query response time in terms of the probability p, the ranking number k, and the error rate.
