Abstract

Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis is the etiological agent of Johne’s disease in ruminants. Here, we report the annotated draft genome sequences of 142 M. avium subsp. paratuberculosis strains that were isolated from dairy cattle in France between 2014 and 2018. The genomes of these strains were sequenced using Illumina technology. Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis is the etiological agent of Johne’s disease in ruminants.
