Las ciudades como objeto de estudio en el marco de la ciencia política

Abstract

The purpose of the present article is to offer a panorama of the cities as object of reflection within the scope of the Political Science. The starting point is the distinction that Professor Fernando Harto de Vera establishes between two moments of the political studies: political reflection as intellectual craftsmanship and political science. The research work is assumed from a historical-linear perspective that allows, at first, to present the artisanal political studies on the cities from qualitative elements and, in a second moment, to make a quantitative description of the studies that have been carried out on cities within the framework of political science.
