Part I of this article (published in issue No. 206, 3rd Quarter 1977, p 157-171) described the various types of simulator available and discussed some of the problems associated with using them. This, second, part considers two of the problems inherent in using a logic simulator. The first of these is circuit initialization which is especially important when testing a circuit and the second covers the range and types of delay that are available.
