Abstract

Cost analyzes are of the key importance for the success of construction project. BIM as developing and disseminating technology brings several advantages for the construction industry—especially for the several analyses carried out in the course of construction project and cost analyzes among them. This paper presents discussion of the concept of combining the idea of BIM and the use of artificial neural networks for the purposes of macro level cost analyzes. The author intention is to present considerations about potential benefits as well as the nuisances of the proposed approach. Introduction
