Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which aims to determine the effectiveness of the Role Playing learning model in improving student learning outcomes on the material of the human circulatory system. class VIII SMP YP PGRI 4 MAKASSAR. Collecting data through quantitative analysis techniques, namely data analysis techniques using direct observation of student activities and learning completeness in following lessons in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the mastery of learning outcomes on the material of the human circulatory system in class VIII SMP YP PGRI 4 Makassar, namely there were 13 students who met the minimum completeness criteria in the first cycle or as much as 37% while in the second cycle there were 31 students or 88% of the total. overall students in using the Role Playing learning model. The results of direct observation of student activities also experienced an increase starting from the active aspect in discussion, active in question and answer and actively providing conclusions. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Role Playing learning model in the teaching and learning process in the classroom has an effective impact on improving student learning outcomes on system materials blood circulation in humans. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Role Playing dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia. kelas VIII SMP YP PGRI 4 MAKASSAR. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik analisis kuantitatif yaitu teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan pengamatan langsung aktivitas siswa dan ketuntasan belajar dalam mengikuti pelajaran secara dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ketuntasan hasil belajar pada materi sistem peredaran manusia pada siswa kelas VIII SMP YP PGRI 4 Makassar yaitu terdapat 13 siswa yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal pada siklus I atau sebanyak 37% sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat 31 siswa atau berjumlah 88% dari keseluruhan siswa dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran Role Playing. Hasil pengamatan langsung aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan mulai dari aspek aktif dalam diskusi, aktif dalam tanya jawab dan aktif memberikan kesimpulan dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Role Playing dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas memberikan dampak efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem peredaran darah pada manusia.
