The authors provide an overview of work conducted by the University of Minnesota (UM) to meet the data literacy needs of its graduate students through data management. They mention the Data Information Literacy project, funded by the U.S. Institute of Museum & Library Services, to bring together librarians and researchers from Purdue University, Cornell University and UM to address the data management skills needed by students. They mentions the Data Management Workshop Series for UM students.
