In order to meet the requirements of acquiring transient signal, a high-speed data acquisition system which is based on virtual instrument platform LabVIEW and PCI data acquisition card has been developed. The system achieves the functions of synchronous data acquisition, signal noise reduction, data storage and real-time display for multi-channel analog voltage signal and digital signal. In the application of balloon burst test results show that: the system can effectively complete the task of data acquisition, data processing, data storage and display for transient signal in a synchronized and high-speed way with convenient operation, stable and reliable performance, high accuracy and strong practical applicability in engineering application. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
