Abstract

To design the envelope of a Passive House, it is necessary to know the thermophysical properties of the materials that constitute the walls and floor slabs in cold environments, so as to achieve high energy performance. The same principle applies to the choice of the door and window frames, which, in addition to limiting the heat losses, must produce adequate heat gains through the accumulation of the solar radiation.
