Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To determine the efficacy and safety of a 6-thioguanine nucleotide (6-TGN) metabolite-based dosing strategy for maintenance of remission using azathioprine or mercaptopurine in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
