In this issue of Blood, Kiel et al identify novel and high-frequency gain-offunction mutations involving genes of the Janus kinase (JAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) signaling pathway in T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL), paving the way for new targeted therapies. © 2014 by The American Society of Hematology.
