Looking back and forward on sound design: Irish theatre transformed

Abstract

Using examples of my work with Corcadorca, Graffiti and Enda Walsh Chapter 9 is a personal account of a journey in creative theatre sound design. It is written from the perspective of how technology has shaped and informed sound design over the past twenty years and ruminations on how technology will shape sound design in the future.
