Abstract

RimOnO Prototype 01, a tiny electric car with a textile body, won the highest award at the 4th Kawaii Award in 2016 hosted by the Japan Society of Kansei Engineering. In this chapter, Shinsuke Ito, the CEO of RimOnO Corporation, explains how a group of people with different backgrounds teamed up to create this tiny, appealing car and how the prototype came to have its current design.
