Abstract

Investigation of the health effects of mixtures will benefit from the cooperation of toxicologists and epidemiologists. This chapter provides insight into the commonalities and differences in the viewpoint and methods that toxicologists and epidemiologists use to investigate health effects of mixtures. Ways in which these two important disciplines can work together are suggested.
