Abstract

Accelerated atherosclerosis and increased cardiovascular (CV) risk have become 3 major factors of mortality in inflammatory diseases. Most data have become avail-4 able in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), however, vasculopathies have also been 5 associated with spondylarthropathies (SpA), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), 6 antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), systemic sclerosis (SSc, scleroderma) and sys-7 temic vasculitides [1-19].
