Industry seems to be reluctant to use software process modeling technology. This paper reports on a case study in the context of the software process technology transfer project. For the target organization, the aim of the project was to develop a detailed description of their processes. For the research organization involved, the goal of the case study was to determine whether a process modeling method and tool, based on a graphical, yet formal notation could be used by industrial organizations to capture their processes.
