Abstract

Cities of tomorrow should be urban smart communities that design a path for sustainability and evolve using the potential of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in order to support urban development and promote value creation. As smart communities, cities should adopt a smart approach in order to drive social and economic urban growth using information technology to develop a path for sustainability that relies on designing smart governance and developing a culture of smartness that enables the city to construct sustainability in urban ecosystem and spaces rediscovering the importance to be an urban community looking at the future.
