Abstract

Tennis is a sport that can be played both indoors and outdoors; on a variety of court services from grass, clay, and synthetic materials; and is intermittent in nature with the work to rest ratio depending on the playing style and court surface. Tennis involves both the upper and lower body, requires speed and agility with short sprints ranging from 1 to 12 per point, and rallies generally lasting 2–10 s [1, 2].
