Abstract

This work implemented visible light communication system for LED lighting to manufacture light transmitter/receiver using infrared communication module, and measured the values of voltage change ranging 0.50m 2.50m to the distance. This experiment indicated that as the farther the distance, the less the light intensity, which suggests that it caused loss of voltage and data, and that communication error occurred depending on the difference of extraneous light between day and night. Based on the results of this study problems must be solved and further research and improvements for the loss of data should be conducted. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
