Abstract

Testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) are essential activities on consumer and industrial systems. The conformance to system specifications and standards can then provide assurances on system safety, security, reliability, and interoperability. TIC needs to evolve in tandem with growing system size and complexity. Common modern systems such as autonomous vehicles and smart health-care systems take the form of Cyber Physical Systems (CPSs). Model Based Testing (MBT) is one promising approach to test CPSs. An MBT framework for testing CPSs will be useful to systems testers and can raise the standard of systems testing as a whole.
