Abstract

One of the key concepts of Husserl's phenomenology is called intuition. This concept may initially be understood in the phenomenological tradition as a radical affinity between "seeing" fact "seeing" the essence. The to "see" is actually understood as part of the natural attitude, already "see" the essence arises in phenomenological attitude. With this, it is our purpose in this paper to understand the relationship between the natural attitude and the phenomenological attitude. To perform this investigation we have as a basis the husserliano thought and some specific contributions of Levinas on the topic of intuition. The main question of our research can be presented: how can we change our "look" that is initially immersed in the natural attitude, considered by Husserl as to some extent by his thoughtless character of belief in the world and the things, for one "look" phenomenological? Craving answer this question we divide this article into two parts: 1st) "Natural Attitude as part of and openness to 'see' the essence”; 2nd) "Intuitive Act: activity of consciousness that reveals the relationship between the natural attitude and the phenomenological atitude”.
