Abstract

A new energy-aware disjoint routing discovery scheme for wireless ad-hoc networks is developed. With a novel energy per bit measurement technique incorporated with a two-group allocation method, the information bits can be allocated to each path such that the overall amount of energy consumed is minimized. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
