Current educational contexts are largely affected by the phenomena that occur in our society. Even students who are now in our schools may in the future exercise professions that have not been invented yet. Personal learning environments, better known by its acronym in English (PLE), through web tools 2.0, have led to a more significant and active learning by the student; while becoming responsible for managing their learning, they can work cooperatively. This article seeks to highlight the M-PLE as a response to the educational needs of this changing society. The M-PLE is based on the development of a personal learning environment (PLE) and mobile learning (m-Learning), ergo a mobile personal learning environment. The M-PLE can be key in compulsory education, especially for the last cycle of primary and junior secondary. This strategy (MPLE) generated through the use of mobile devices, gives an ubiquitous sense to learning.
