An Introduction to Isotopic Proveniencing

Abstract

This introduction to the volume includes a short history of isotopic proveniencing, a discussion of mass spectrometers as essential instruments in these studies, a brief summary of the major features of the various methods, and an introduction to the papers that follow. It is my hope that this introduction will provide a background that will allow the contributed papers to have more impact.
