Abstract

The study aimed to find out the effect of using SCAMPER strategy on developing students’ some habits of mind. The participants were chosen from the Fifth-grade students prep stage and they were divided into two groups, experimental and control group. The study tools prepared by the researcher (achievement test and habits of mind questionnaire) were pre- administrated. The experimental group learnt the presented material using SCAMPER strategy and the control group studied in the traditional method. The study tools were post applied. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of experimental and control groups in the post application of the tools in favor of the experimental group.
