Abstract

Mycotoxins are products of the secondary metabolism of various types of filamentous fungi, the so-called molds of the genera Aspergillus, Penicilium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Claviceps, Stachybotrys. Mold fungi are common in the natural environment, they are often a component of soil microflora, as well as agricultural crops.
