Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the profile of habits of mind skills for teachers who teach biology subject in secondary school. The method used in the study is a survey method with samples is all of ten, eleven, and twelve class teacher who teach biology subjects in Pasundan senior high school in the city of Bandung with 20 people. The habits of mind aspects or indicators used in this study are the habits of mind category developed by Marzano (1993) which covers: critical thinking skill, creative thinking skill, and self-regulation skill. Research data is collected using the habits of mind skill questionnaire and an interview sheet. The type of data will be obtained in the form of qualitative data which will be processed using a Likert Scale calculation. The data is then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study have shown that habits of mind skills in biology teachers in Pasundan association in a good category.
