Abstract

This paper presents a work which is concerned with both the theoretical and practical foundations of ontology development. An ontological model that covers several types of relations between concepts is described. Also, an ontology editor for building ontologies according to this particular ontological model is presented in this paper and its benefits and drawbacks with respect to other available ontological engineering tools are discussed. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2004.
