Abstract

This chapter offers a personal account of the progression of cosmopolitanism in Consumer Culture Theory research, highlighting the interrelations of the concept with global and local consumer culture. It further provides reflections on current research, and future opportunities for studying cosmopolitanism in consumption and markets.
